While the book focuses on the foundational GTM strategies for early traction—finding your first audience, building distribution, and validating your product—the principles of user conversations and understanding customer needs can indeed help drive retention and growth. Transitioning from high churn models to sustainable, long-term contracts is a strategic pivot, and while not covered in detail in this version, it’s certainly something I plan to explore more deeply, perhaps in future editions or the course I’m developing.

The starting part is easy - to get the first few thousand or even 100 thousand users... its the later part that really is difficult to crack in the space.
