I’ve had pizza twice since arriving in LA from NYC. Both times, the pizza came with a 3 slot side tray with an herb, some cheese, and something spicy. Is this the norm in LA? Or is it just a Venice beach norm? 

Even when having fancy pizza in NYC, I’ve never had the three garnish trivet(?) experience.

If it was a brick oven pizza, it could be soft and lack the crunch you're used to in NYC. It looks like a Neopolitan style. It's hard to master the runny egg like a Japanese restaurant.

It was good flavor wise and the ingredients were high quality as well! But it was very soft and there was no crunch in mouth feel. 😅 I also felt the egg should’ve been runnier.
