I think the entire web3 gaming sector is heating up and will go through a massive repricing soon enough.

Many of the most valuable assets don’t even exist yet - parallels is showing a lot of what is possible now but this narrative is just getting started.

But seriously trade it, sell it, gift it, burn it - an entire world of possibilities when the economy of the assets is open and there is actual ownership.

While that will be a cool addition eventually I don’t agree. The benefit of just using blockchain rails to allow for an open economy for any games assets is in of itself a gigantic upgrade over traditional game economies (and needing to build all that infra themselves).

The problem is unless there is cross game compatibility financialisation is the main (only?) added benefit.
