Are you saying something similar but for neynar? I’m not against one-off mcp servers, right now they make a lot of sense. I just think in the future great llms.txt and allowing arbitrary code execution is the ideal implementation for getting things done with ai.

Can you elaborate on the writing code vs. answering questions. Nash MCP with a neynar api key in secrets gets to the right result within a few iterations. All the Nash mcp server is doing is executing code the llm writes. Which you can then get by asking llm for the code it used. Sonnet 3.7 under the hood

this week, we built a mac app aiming to replace chatgpt / claude desktop. and we finally got apple dev approval—payment still "processing"

Our contrarian take with Nash is that you only need 1 MCP. These models are so good at writing code that, allowing them to execute arbitrary code and having access to up-to-date llm-friendly api docs, they can do anything.

I bought the play-by-play data for the current NBA season for $50 and signed up for the free tier at the-odds-api.com. With just that, the Nash MCP was able to:
- get the current Draft Kings lines for tonight's games (the-odds-api.com)
- get the injury reports for the games (not exactly sure how it got these)
- find the play-by-play data on my desktop
- build a model
- show me the +ev bets to make
