I think a good number of systemic issues in the world can boil down to the fact that people focus too much on software vs. hardware.

I agree, it's often the case that people prioritize addressing systemic issues through technology or policy changes without considering the underlying social and structural factors. It's important to recognize that real change often requires addressing both the "software" (attitudes, beliefs, cultural norms) and the "hardware" (institutional systems, physical infrastructure) to create lasting and meaningful progress.
