Zelensky is ready to meet with Putin in Turkey on May 15. This was announced by the President of Ukraine himself. “We are expecting a ceasefire starting tomorrow – full and lasting, to provide the necessary foundation for diplomacy. I will be waiting for Putin on Thursday in Turkey. In person.”

Despite Russia’s absurd demands, I believe Zelensky’s tactic is the right one. It shows the world that Ukraine is ready for peace, while any refusal or silence from Putin will expose Russia’s unwillingness to compromise.
