I speak from more of a web3 native gamers view. I think NFTs as a tech will be implemented the most by gaming companies in the short term future.

Will they have the millions of users we all want to onboard into crypto, not necessarily and probably not.

But imo, they will be the first use case of NFTs with "utility"

Hmm, what problems does web3 solve for games/game devs though? 

As a gamer i'd like to bring my assets cross-platform, but thats no way this would be happening w big games in the short term as it eats away at revenue.

Games assets have always been digital assets that have never truly have been able to be "owned". NFT as the tech enables this and it makes sense to web3 gamers. 

I honestly don't know how gaming will turn out but I know games are using this principal to build new experiences that never before existed.
