In the US, almost a third (at best) of the population that can legally vote, doesn't. Would be interesting to see if this varies by party/demographic - figure that'd explain why certain messaging is used in ads and such

I think there is a strong correlation with voting and how involved you are with your community in general. For example, here in MN, we have the highest % of people that volunteer and highest % of voters. (In 2020, Minnesota broke a record when 79.9% of eligible voters in the state voted in the general election.)

Wow, that's an incredible number. Ya I'd agree that makes sense, though I wouldn't necessarily assume the converse is true. Also, congrats on Walz! Dude seems pretty geniune. Still can't believe he did a couch joke in his first speech.

Walz is absolutely the real deal. I haven't heard a single story from someone that had a bad interaction with him personally and he is out at events all the time. I'll be sad to lose him, but his Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan is also amazing, so not too sad. He's the "dad" joke type, so expect a lot more where that came from😄
