Today was painful in the real life job... π We were put in training for yet another thing that's been around 50 years that's covered in filthy band-aids when the simple fix is to rip ALL the band-aids off and stop "doing it this way cuz that's how it's always been done". I'm not kidding, the number of steps required to perform a simple action is 10 times what it needs to be because some politician in the 60's got elected and decided to "add" a flavour of the month. And then again in the 70's, the 80's, the 90's, etc, etc. The "system" is absolutely covered in decades of shit. The fact that we're still standing is a gd miracle. I'm so, so tired of it all... π I'd give all my first-borns in every parallel universe for DEGEN to go to $1 so I could cease being part of that system. It kills me slowly to spend any energy there at all.

I feel youβ¦ jobs can really do an awful number on you when itβs all about trying to fix the fix for the fix of the previous fix. It gets exhausting.
