my take on $degen staking after stewing on it: many people have said it, but the #1 issue is that an allocation shouldn't be based on the fraction the stake represents of the entire pool since it effectively creates a bidding war for allocations (pvp). i won't make specific suggestions on how to change this since many great ones have already been made.

i am proud to have staked, but seeing other folks' allocations continue to drop due to this dynamic makes me (and them) sad. getting penalized for doing nothing is sad.

tipping should be as fun as we can make it.

I think the free market will eventually define how much locked Degen is worth a 10k Degen tip allowance, and then the price will stabilize. In my opinion, free markets work better than centrally defined prices. Let's see how it plays out this season!

I think the issue is that most of us who staked had no idea we could risk locking large amounts for very little allo if too many whales locked millions and now we're stuck in a loop of staking more so it doesnt go to waste. That's months worth of rent for some of us. I really think this should be improved for the token's long term survival. 

Also, how do you feel about introducing a rule where we have to tip a min of x amount of users to qualify for the airdrop?
