I never do 0-day meetings unless it's IRL and I have time. It seems like a side effect of the post covid experience. It's easier to coordinate on a calendar vs just trying to yolo a meeting.

But I don't like it either.

i think i just gotta get used to it, just feels a bit too formal to me idk, id just prefer if someone if someone asked if i was free now, not for me to schedule a time on their calendar
