A decent chunk of YC start ups say 95% I have 2 thoughts: 1) vibe coding is great for prototypes but the latest trend is a flurry of security issues & high cloud bills in those apps — autopilot in airplanes have been around for ages but we still need an experienced pilot in the cockpit 2) if you establish a clean pattern in a large scale production-grade codebase, commit a markdown file about it so that LLMs can help abide by the pattern when building new features https://techcrunch.com/2025/03/06/a-quarter-of-startups-in-ycs-current-cohort-have-codebases-that-are-almost-entirely-ai-generated/

It’s insane but maybe 95%? That said, it takes more effort than it looks to get things really working.
