can't communists just move to communist countires? serious question nothing is stopping this right?

These days, communists are nationalists first and jingoists second whether they admit it or not. IE, “I must save this glorious country” followed by “let me now save your glorious country.” BUT. There are other reasons: Going back to Lenin’s “What Is To Be Done” from 1902 he lays out that there is an imperative for all workers to rise up in each country in pursuit of a global communism - there must be an “organized revolutionary struggle within each country.” So the more hardcore Leninites have “holy scripture” (as it were) insisting on their staying put and doing the revolution here. It was only under Stalin that the idea that communism was working even if it only worked in one country was considered acceptable. The idea of giving up on communism anywhere else would have been akin to blasphemy.
