I have bought and used 2 different generations of iPad Pro, most recently the 2022 version. 

The hardware has consistently been incredible. And it looks like the newest iteration holds up that tradition. 

But every time I buy an iPad, I buy it in anticipation of an OS that doesn’t exist and still hasn’t arrived.

Exactly this. I love my ipad pro, a beautifully designed slab of metal with awesome hardware - but I can’t actually use it for much. Can’t remember the last time I used it for something other than sidecars screen extension 😭

That's the story of apple, yet we keep buying it knowing that the ideal marriage of hardware and software in the mobile realm still doesn't exist. 

As a slight digression I say:

"I don't think this is an accident."
