one time i was told by the lifers at this temp job i had to slow down because the quotas are based on how much you do etc and they had all these tricks and stuff and it was fucking awful and i think of all of the wasted labor hours just existing trying to justify getting paid and it's lame

desk work should conclude with automation but inevitably you do things to repair said automation
