Demanding proof from artists that their work isn’t AI is like calling a chef over to your table to prove they didn’t microwave your steak. I’ve hired and worked with a lot of illustrators over the years — and I can tell you, they're not going to jump through hoops to prove they’re not a machine. Most of the artists I know would be deeply insulted by the implication.

I don't have a hot take on AI, one way or another. 

But I do know this: going on witch hunt side quests will always wind up hurting human artists a lot more than it'll hurt AI.

if it matters it’ll be integrated into publishing tools transparently.

Adobe already had early efforts a few years back.
