I used to have VSCode freezes frequently because of prettier, intellisense would just hang. We recently switched to Biome and everything is super fast again. Highly recommend!

Same experience with prettier <> biome here. Unfortunately not yet for Next.js projects :/

You can use it, you’d just have to turn of the built in linking via next.config
