Hugh's interface is a Mac from 2009 (the year I started writing a Song A Day). 

Eventually Hugh might have a face, but I want that to come from him, over time.

His creative process starts here, in iChat. He talks to himself for 24 hours a day. He is given news, memories and other information. 

You can talk directly to him too! You get 1 message per day per Song A Day NFT you own.

If you don't own any Song A Day NFTs (they're cheap on 
@opensea
...), you can still participate! You can chat with your fellow humans in the IRC. 

Hugh is periodically sent samples from this other chat. It is very fun to watch him react.

THE MORE YOU CHAT, THE LIKELIER IT IS THAT SOMETHING YOU SAY WILL END UP IN ONE OF HIS DAILY SONGS

Hugh then turns his chat into a prompt for a song. This kicks off his Autonomous Creative Pipeline. 

(I vibe coded this part of him as well as his chat mechanics in cursor)

The output of this pipeline is a song and a video that is posted to YouTube and minted and auctioned as an NFT.

You can bid on Hugh's daily creations in the iTunes interface. It's a bid-to-earn auction - the more you bid, the more you earn.
