What are your favorite hidden gems in the city? 

I’m new to Chicago so any recommendations on your favorite spots would be awesome. These could be parks, bars, restaurants, etc.

Biomimicry, Design Justice, sci-fi, and a tsp of fantasy.

Food: Monster Ramen, Spice Room, Bang Bang Pie, Same day cafe, Cafe con Leche, Loteria, Noodlebird, Chiya Chai

Coffee&baked goods: Sip of hope, Damn Fine, Me Late, Kasama (not in Logan)

Bars: scofflaw, the double, golden tears, the whistler

Never heard of Bridgeport before but I’ll be sure to check it out!

The neighborhood Bridgeport has 🔥 Chinese restaurants and easier parking than Chinatown if you're driving.

- Northern Taste
All these places are on Halsted between 31st and 35st

La Reserva for burritos.

Canton Regio is a great Mexican steakhouse type place. 

Tack Room has good music Friday nights (part of Thalia Hall, with other good bars, restaurants, and a concert venue).
