Maybe some of the people buying aren't supporters, but diehard opponents who want to earn some "flee the country" money if he wins? It's like a hedge on real world events instead of a prediction.

@latsko.eth I liked your vwr on Nounspace. You're very right, tiktok took off because it only let users create 15-second videos (and then did a good job with discovery). Adding features after explosive user growth (like Twitter did) is fine, but to build the userbase it probably makes more sense to be narrow. We can already see this with reactions to the product, when people say "I don't know what to use it for." It's impossible to say that about tiktok--you make short videos!

If lots of people were voting via AI agent, couldn't someone who has access to the AI engine essentially brute force a prop that is guaranteed to pass? (e.g. start with a malicious prop, and then test out different types of clever phrasing until a version is found that the majority of agents would vote Yes on)

This has been a very interesting experience in decentralized governance! Our prop is getting a lot of support from very talented builders, and yet a small number of whales are able to tip the scales. I wonder if the system can be improved (or if this is how it's supposed to be?). Still 24 hours left if you want to weigh in on prop 577! πŸΏπŸ‘€

I agree with you, I would like to see more accountability and justification driven by metrics. I look forward to hearing what you might think about our new prop (577). The focus is on increasing accessibility and participation, with results we can measure (i.e. the number of people interacting with Nouns through Lighthouse).
