Apple Vision Pro

I don’t think you can accurately judge the Apple Vision Pro until you use it with Magic Keyboard and Trackpad.

I just got these accessories in and it immediately changed how I think about using this device.

I am using the trackpad plus a mechanical keyboard attached to my desktop and desktop virtualization. Same experience but lets me use my beloved keyboard. I’m doing dev work so need the actual desktop for now anyway. But yeah, completely different experience being able to type into visionOS windows!

I am writing this to you in Vision Pro. Having the accessories makes me feel like I could ditch my laptop and iPad. It’s that good. I was on the fence about the trackpad, but it basically gives you the iPad trackpad experience in every window.

I can see using Vision Pro all day now

I’m not connecting to my computer, I’m Bluetooth connecting the peripherals to the headset.

I’ve had the same slow issue with connecting to my laptop. I think that the issue is I don’t have a MacBook with Apple Silicon.

Are you syncing to the device itself? When I connect to Mac everything is slow.

Eh any keyboard works, nothing special about the magic one.
