This commenter claimed my VR game cost $10,000,000. A silly claim. So I made a silly video about it. One of our best performing YouTube Shorts ever. Just keep shipping. Just keep creating content.

TikTok followers: 183K YouTube subs: 2,140 IG followers: 10K We’re figuring out that pure VR content from the game does well on TikTok and IG. Face-first content like this post above do best on YouTube.

Gotcha. Interesting. Would you highly recommend any game dev to post on these channels for distribution?

Absolutely. I think that having a good short-form cadence is critical to game dev. Your job as a game dev is to put on a show as you build for your audience. A great way to do this is what PirateSoftware does. They stream on Twitch and YouTube while they code their game, then clip moments where they answer questions

Have you ever done live streaming of building your game?

We have live-streamed play sessions with our players and creating custom assets in our game like bats and hats. But we are considering doing more livestream building as we see others have success with it in PC games. Also takes a special dev that can code, entertain and is comfortable in front of camera/showing face
