2. Security concerns and reliance on local consensus. How would you address the security trade offs like Sybil or network partitioning attacks? 

Where either reliability is affected because of numerous manipulated data flows, identities or nodes. Or potentially manipulating node networking

Eclipse attacks are the only ones we're worried about - where you run a bunch of nodes that ignore other users. 

There's no deterministic solution but there are a lot of strategies like peer scoring and trusted snapshots that we can use to find and remove bad actors.
