It sounds like people’s biggest knock against passkeys is that where they are stored is siloed to the Apple or Android ecosystem, so when a user changes platforms, they have a hard time accessing. 

This seems fairly edge case, solvable via a migration tool, and not a good enough reason to lose the ease of passkeys.

Are you phone and laptop in different ecosystems?

Mine are (Macbook Pro, iPad Air, Pixel 7a soon to be upgraded, Samsung Z4), but yeah, 1pass bridge the gap fairly well. But I also have other factors that are backups (a few keys, hd wallets, TOTP 2FA even). They are spread out so there's no single point of failure on my end.
