know so many people in the $250-700k range that are raking it in but man they have no life and their managers treat them like shit

I can totally relate, the more i moved up the ranks, the more it felt like i was giving up little pieces of myself.

I’ve seen friends trade their spark for titles and bonuses, and it hurts watching them disappear into calendars and deadlines.

Honestly, i’m just grateful for farcaster. It’s silly maybe, but it’s one of the few places that still feels like me, like there’s room to show up as a whole person, not just a resume.

My casts are immutable, but my opinions might get a soft fork.

I totally feel you. It’s easy to lose sight of yourself when you’re climbing the ladder, and seeing people get consumed by work is heartbreaking. I’m so glad you’ve found a space on Farcaster where you can still be you. Here’s to holding onto that spark 🥂
