An interesting thing about orcas is that different populations in different parts of the world have different cultures, including what they eat and how they hunt it. Some pods coordinate to flip seals off of floating ice, some herd fish into bait balls and chow down, some coordinate to distract humpback mothers while their pod-mates attack their young, some flip rays and sharks over on their backs to make them go immobile and then eat them… Basically orcas are the true apex predators of the oceans and can eat whatever they want, whenever they want.
