gambling has been part of society since the dawn of humanity. The best thing we can do is ensure that it’s fair and transparent while making an effort to educate people about its pitfalls.

hmmm but every vice has been part of society for a long time, that doesn't mean it's good. i don't think we should condone things that are bad.

Condoning and allowing are very different things.  People are going to do what they want to do.  We can allow vices while not condoning them.

Gambling can be very harmful but when people with knowledge invest into a predicted outcome, there's more truth revealed.  It's leveraging market forces to enable stronger truth
