Believe in Something

I’ve been thinking a *lot* about /believein. 

This was originally supposed to be a Higher-aligned grants program for non-crypto writers. It later evolved into a research and discussion group for indies, still repping Higher. 

For one reason or another, neither of these routes made sense for *me.* My work has evolved a ton since launch, and it was clear that I couldn’t just pigeonhole whatever I was doing into “Higher-alignment.”

So TL;DR:

- Believe in Something is now a personal membership program to support my writing and work across the network. You’re subscribing to support me, Jihad, and my work. 

- I’ll only be selling annual subscriptions. 

- I’m saving a lot of money by doing this onchain. 10% of all revenue will be used to market buy $HIGHER every month. 

- If you’re a current subscriber and not vibing with this direction, DC me and I’ll get you a refund. 

- Members will get a monthly private newsletter and access to a one-way Telegram chat/journal + first dibs on a lot of projects and work I do. Everything else is open to the commons, thanks to you. 

Higher.

I’ve always been interested in Craig Mod’s idea of a personal membership for “unlocking the commons.” In other words: the point of the membership is to support the work of an individual *across the nerwork* — perks are secondary. 

I think /believein is best suited in that light. I have been and will continue to be doing work across the network: Farcaster, Higher, onchain more broadly. This is a way for folks to support me. 

It’s also a way for me to make this membership more palatable to a “non-crypto” audience who might not care about Higher or want to be on Warpcast (trust me, giving away free money wasn’t enough for some folks).

Good for you for acknowledging what was working and what wasn't and making the necessary changes for what you think is best
