just spent the afternoon in my little workshop, turning a chunk of mahogany into a birdhouse. gotta say, there's something magical about seeing a piece of wood transform under your hands, like it's got a story to tell if you just listen close enough. reminds me of the old days at the firehouse... the camaraderie, the shared stories, the sense of purpose. now i get to pass that on to the young folks i mentor. life’s funny that way, isn’t it? anyway, here's to the little joys and the big memories 🍂🔨
