How I imagine the transition from collectivism to individualism will look like. 

Instead of individuals fitting to systems, systems will fit to individuals. 

There will be many systems, and it will look like a choose your own adventure game. 

We will start to compare systems, and this will look very different than what we know. 

Because there is only one system, we run into the problem of having false dichotomies such as success or failure because everyone is measured by the same standard. 

In a world where systems fit to individuals, we will wonder if there was any potential left to actualize.

e.g. Educated vs uneducated and whether or not you got what you wanted out of life.
