Iāve been working on figuring out babka for over 15 years ⦠Back when I started, there was no babka recipe on the internetā¦shocking I know! I went to the library and found what ended up being a terrible recipe. I became obsessed with this bread. What a fun journey ⦠still working on it. š

Aw thank you for your kind words! Haha yes - Iāve definitely managed to spend 15 years on less productive endeavors! š Babka helped me explore so many types of breads and fillings and techniques over the years. I even created a vegan version at some point, which wasnāt too bad. Sending much aloha to you!

Your welcome, it looks on point! I never prepared babka. I agree in regards to enriched doughs being such a learning experience. The vegan variation sounds friendly for the people I work for. What did you use for fat? Coconut? Aloha!

Yes - coconut oil! š«¶š» I created it for a soy dessert contest so it also uses tofu and kinako soybean flour! š«£
