traders hate the new /zora update because in order to understand what's valuable they have to engage with the actual content rather than reduce it to a line chart

Probably harder to actually focus on this aspect in the space due to everything that has happened over the past year or so. We have been psyoped by the scam chain and useless tokens to belittle everything down to a chart and making $ Honestly don’t know how to turn the tide on this because we all know the scammers will come back and as it has shown… they will likely be stronger and smarter then before to suck in new entrants

Artists hate the new /zora update because we understand that what was once a great art platform, has slowly changed into a defi platform with no warning. Art and memecoins have their place and if an artist wants to do that, cool. And if they don’t, that should also be cool. Artists are the ones who determine how their art is created. NOT platforms. The argument that the erc20s are “art”…they’re not. As an artist for over a decade, not everything is art. When zora took away burns, auctions, 721s, I questioned it each time and received nothing but rude responses from the big man telling me to go somewhere else and they’ll never bring those things back instead of trying to compromise with artists who have been using the platform for years. They make no effort to give a heads up to users that huge changes are coming and show no remorse to pissing off the entire group of people (artists) who helped make zora as popular as it is.

Actually the update is undermining the value of the content by reducing it to a line chart when that’s just the hot thing and not actually the right tool for the job
