we're exploring the space of "multi-address @ensdomains" with basenames — e.g. linking multiple addresses to your name, so you can be your whole self onchain.

Doing it on @payflow, but more on the application level, I assume you’re referring to a protocol solution?

The basic thought could be attestations to link wallets together, similarly the way it’s done on farcaster, but for everyone usage, however you still need an identity to rule them all :)

Or it could be many-to-many mapping, any identity can be a global identity with a list of bi-directional proofs of other linked wallets

@jessepollak, would be awesome if it was part of ENS protocol and not only basenames, I was exploring if we could use attestations for that with many-to-many bi-directional proofs similar the way it's implemented on farcaster

yes agree - whatever we do will be done as an ENSIP + support in the basename registrar/resolver as a first example

i noticed talent protocol allows adding multiple addresses to profile which is great as i deploy contracts from a diff wallet to my hot wallet

not currently scoped/planned, but would make sense to me long term

slightly off topic, but will users be able to build websites on top of their basenames like we can with our ENS domains?

What I'm missing is linking per-chain addresses to my ENS: A on L1, B on Base, C on Arbitrum, etc., and dapps making use of them.

It sounds like what Clusters aim to achieve, but have not heard much since their launch. ENS is best positioned for the unified identity end goal though, wrote briefly about this context last April:

I love this! Linking only one wallet to an ens name encourages to use only one wallet for everything. This is not safe, I'd strongly prefer a multi-wallet solution.
