did my first all day offsite yesterday with the @coinbase exec team. a few quick observations:

1. this is a real team — brian, emilie, alesia, max, & greg have now been working together for 5+ years — and it shows.
2. the level of rigor of strategic thinking + execution is incredibly high. thinking on the scale of years+decades, while consistently driving short term execution.
3. they get onchain — and are leading the way in shaping what it means to bring a massive public company onchain.

I mostly listened and learned — I'm excited to be a part of this team and to bring the perspective I have from being in the onchain trenches every day with all of you.

also: she's not on social media, but I just gotta say that Alesia Haas (CFO) is one of the most incisive, thoughtful, kind and onchain-native leaders I have ever worked with.

when the story of onchain is written, she will go down as one of the most important leaders, period.
