The ChatGPT `o1-preview` model is rate limiting me (because "preview")...and the effect suddenly losing the model during the day really makes it clear how darn useful it is as an intellectual companion.

As I've said before - co-pilots in the code editor are a smell (for me, causing brain atrophy)...I may be getting brain-atrophy from the "conversation" through the chat UI, but only in the same way I'd atrophy if I had a really smart colleague around all the time who answers my dumb/curious questions - but doesn't actually have to write the working code.
