This drives me nuts about VCs and I’m gonna call I the Colin paradox from now on How can both these casts be true at once? VCs want this amazing story for how you’ll be the next decacorn, but also major pivots are very common. wtf is the point?

I think the easiest way to learn why this is happening is to become a VC and have a bunch of Colin’s pitch you to find out why you’d end up in the same position, perhaps

One of the things I hope we get to do more of as we evolve @seedclub is creating the context where builders get to experience more of the funding side decision making. Not sure how to do that well just yet, but its on our radar.

Honestly I think both sides of the table are human and they are mainly doing their best. Of course you want both sides to know about the market forces shaping their decisions but at the end of the day, most are going to fall prey to pressures of their respective jobs
