it boggles my mind that people as smart as EF devs/researchers refuse to recognize the critical overlap between technical and comms skills.

the best marketers in crypto are technical and the best engineers are good communicators. 

bringing these two skillsets together is how ethereum wins.

People in powerful places mocking marketers just Iike they always have been. Since my first meetups, and in many job interviews, this attitude is nothing new. This person is just actually bold enough to say it publicly.

This holds true in many situations.

Generally, the more well-rounded you are, the better.

The more you can relate to others, the better.

The more you can speak the same language to different groups within your organization, the better.

You might be brilliant in your field, but if you can’t articulate yourself in the language of others, you are limiting your worth to the organization.
