Answer 1/3: Cut the water bottles in half, glue brown paper packaging around them and paint them gold. Screw in the metal hooks and attach to the styrofoam balls.

Answer 2/3: Put the balls on top of the PVC piping. Roll red velvet fabric into tubes and stuff them with the pillow stuffing. Glue them to the inside of the gold water bottles. Cut holes into the bottom of the potters and stick the other end of the pipes into the pots. Glue the pots to circular styrofoam.

Answer 3/3: Paint the PVC piping, pots, styrofoam gold and attach the red velvet fabric cords to the next styrofoam ball. And voila - my wife has made official looking stanchions of the like you see at red carpet events and museums. Sheโ€™s making these as props in a play that my kids are going to be in this weekend.
