Exercising in the cold is tough.  I’m reminded though that my fastest running times have been in 40+ degree weather.  You got this! 💪🏽

Oh yes - it got “up to” 47 degrees Fahrenheit.  I couldn’t feel my hands for the first six miles of the Carlsbad, CA half-marathon and I was wearing gloves.  That race still stands as my second best time for half-marathon distance. 🏃🏾

My 1st was the Palos Verdes Half-Marathon.  Sub 8 min/mi pace.

Caveat: that was 16 years ago; married, but before our two kids. 🤣  My most recent half was 6 months ago and I held an 11:27 min/mi pace.  Btw, there were two other Farcasters running that half too as far as I know!

thanks so much for the encouragement jerry! its currently snowing right now 🥶 and wow thats interesting, its all a mindset!! 💪🏾 ( you do mean 40 degrees farenheit right cos that is VERY hot in celcius) but i will try and get in the sun again soon ☺️
