A good illustration of why the problem of filtering out "spam" is challenging. Most of these accounts are not spam. They are uninteresting to this particular person. One person's spam is another person's friend. It's a relative definition. If you donāt follow these users, even with the power badge, low likelihood youāll see them. And if they are really offensive, just mute.

I woke up to find myself on the list and the whole thread has been a fascinating read this morning. My take is that itās wholly subjective. One manās āspamā is another manās ācultureā. Ultimately EVERYONE on social media is engagement farming to some extent. I personally think this is where Farcaster has the edge with channels. The solution for me is providing users the option to mute specific channels and then allowing specific channels to set their own rules. Iām not a fan of silencing people in society just because we donāt like what they have to say. It should be the listenersā choice who they listen to.
