Is there a reason why more projects aren't using the default framework as the base for their smart contracts? https://github.com/fullyallocated/Default Reasons that come to mind: - Devs don't know about it - Devs don't understand the benefits I've been implementing a new protocol from scratch on default (/megastrategy) and it's saved SO much time.

I think a lot of people are not building protocol with all hoops and loops making the messaging to users very complicated. If anyone is building something on top of smart contract then they need to validate / validate rather add gov and other features. I hope that helps.

I’m curious why you think that. A protocol is rarely fully-formed on the day it is deployed. Contracts will be replaced, ownership changed (MS->OCG), new features added. That’s hard to do if you’re building the architecture from scratch.

On day 1 having DAO or staking all things live is lot to own. That's my opinion. If core features are not verified, it's hard to provide auxiliary decentralized features.
