A week with the new iPad Pro M4

Thinness is actually a really big deal. On such a large device, which we’ll all likely put in a protective case, the portability and lightness is noticeable over the m1 model

The screen is gorgeous

I can use lightning sdxl models to create ai locally and fast with Draw Things app

I have the 13” model with 1tb storage and the regular glossy screen

I added a paper feel screen protector than get that surface built in so I can replace the texture when it inevitably wears out

Battery life in procreate is about the same as last gen, that’s not great.  I prefer the lightness in that trade off

Procreate runs smooth as always but the new Apple Pencil Pro features aren’t integrated yet. That’s a minor bummer but I love the haptic feedback on the tool switching

Big fan of the Magic Keyboard for laptop-esque functionality but iPadOS still not as powerful as macOS
