Before, I was thinking about it as 2 separate uses: 1. Curate jams (for others) 2. Find jams (for yourself) Colin helped me realize that those can be combined in to one: find jams, with the opportunity to add it to jam fans (curate) if it isn't there. Simpler for the user, they don't have to choose which path to take

Cool, yep I can. Again, thanks a ton for this feedback, should be massive improvement for the UX. Have a great weekend!

Idk if you saw my other response, JW were you thinking that all this searching would happen in the slideout? Or is there a better place for that?

Love these ideas, thanks! Were you thinking all the searching takes place in the slideout? Also the curation method is currently a rating scale of 4-10 (that's where the stars come from), have to be logged in (or otherwise deemed unique) to prevent users from curating a jam multiple times (aka fluffing 😄 )

Great points! When you say "during that search process," were you thinking on the slide out?

Thanks again for the feedback, I updated the copy to make the end-use more clear: https://www.jam.fans/ This is why it's so good to get fresh eyes on stuff, I was blind to how unclear that was (but now I see!). Better now?

Thanks for the great feedback. End use is using the filters to find and listen to jams by artist, song name, and/or sounds (most unique part of the app). Thanks for helping me realize the copy doesn't make this clear 😂Going to implement same end use for sets and shows, not just individual jams.

Thanks for taking a look! End use is using the filters to find jams and listening to them. When a jam is added to the DB, it can then be found by using the filters. Different from spotify because most live performances aren't on spotify

I'm open to all feedback re: jam.fans . It's my first real project and I'm not a designer or copywriter at all (and barely a coder 😂) Thanks for doing this ❤️

Any React/TS/JS/Node devs (who also like live music/jam bands, ideally) want to contribute to a live music curation project?
