I just finished 23 Things They Don’t Tell You About Capitalism (good book btw), and there’s this section about how American conservatives don’t actually believe in the free market nor meritocracy, because if they did they’d have an open border labour policy so the best candidate could always be available to fill a position. I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other, besides being opposed to nationalism and overly restrictive immigration, but my point is, while an absolute piece of garbage himself, Musk is kind of right to open up more H1Bs. The beautiful, laughable irony though is that this is not what MAGA promised so it will undoubtedly foment civil war. https://archive.org/details/23thingstheydont0000hajo

I’m convinced that American MAGA or conservatives are essentially internet trolls and nihilists. Otherwise I can’t explain how someone would want think this was a coherent answer to this moment in time.
