why i think the next 6 months are critical: > first time since btc inception (nearly 20 years ago) that we’ve had crypto regulatory clarity; charles is already in there; it will get increasingly weird & quickly > trump’s first 6 months in office will move fast & will be focused on domestic issues; the legislation that will become law here will be fought by the democrats for the next 10 years (window of opportunity) > after 6 months, geopolitical tensions will rise; iran will be forced to defend; if trumps makes a move, china will capitalize on taiwan, russia on ukrain; economic issues will flare, trump will start firing his cabinet, the fed will lower rates to nothing, tradewars will clash with legislation, instability will rise > after 6 months, the economy will begin to breakdown; we’re 4 years into a crypto bull run; nearly 15 years by stocks measure; fed will run out of tools to prop; ai replacements will materialize; tech boys in cabinet will war with unions

> 6 months of stability, then the back half of 2025 is when it starts to get weird… stranger than fiction; cancel culture resurfaces; culture wars get hostile; global wars & a domestic event catalyzes chaos; ai plays a major role in division; social media creates hive minds akin to 2020 > musk continues to ruin & divide X; as a result, new social networks come online; this time, with niche catered interests; the left drain to bluesky; new pockets of the internet emerge; every community finds a ~home~ (window of opportunity for fc) > crypto will continue its fragmentation; more app specific chains will launch & more user specific apps will follow; solana will find their network; hype, their network; even pudgy’s, their network; lens will deploy their new raise & finally find success with a token; from fc’s pov, ua will become insanely challenging from 2025.5 onward

TLDR > everything useful for crypto is done in first 6 months of trump’s presidency; shit will just get stranger & stranger after that & the economic outlook will depreciate as geopolitical tensions rise, trumps cabinet turns over, and ai & tech boys materialize in the name of efficiency > ai will push division across social platforms; fragmentation will peak; every single person on the internet will cozy up in their own little echo chamber on their own little social network; anyone who does not “share their values” will be marked as enemy; fc will lose their opportunity to conduct effective ua starting somewhere in the second half of 2025
