This morning, $BTC fell rapidly after the rebound resistance area, and further fell to 60,000. From the perspective of spot volume and price, the volume of this decline was significantly smaller than the decline in the early morning of yesterday, indicating that the supply began to shrink. From the perspective of the futures market, $BTC holdings fell further, basically falling back to the level before the interest rate cut in September. Overall, the market began to show certain positive signals, and the probability of $BTC falling below the support level further decreased.

The Economist with a cool (ha) article on innovation in air conditioning. TL;DR: - Avg temperature already up 1.2°C from pre-industrial baseline, on track to +2°C by mid-century. - AC units to triple by mid-century. - Evidence exists for heat-related mortality avoidance thanks to AC. - AC contributes more CO2 emissions than the airline industry. - Cooling becomes *more* energy intensive per ° as air temperature rises. - Decarbonizing electricity would help, but AC lifespan is typically 20 years, so the energy efficiency of units sold today will impact emissions through mid-century. - AC design currently does two things: cool the air and remove the condensed humidity from around the coils to avoid damage. - Research shows at least 40% improved efficiency by separating those two functions: push humid air through a lattice or membrane that captures water first, then cool the air. https://www.economist.com/science-and-technology/2024/09/04/new-tech-can-make-air-conditioning-less-harmful-to-the-planet

more random thoughts: - happy people are beautiful people - a clock-in-clock-out, nine-to-five-and-nothing-more is a perfectly acceptable approach to work, but it doesn’t work for me (and that’s also acceptable) - elite athletes will play up age groups or compete in different countries to level up their play; i’ve noticed crypto founders who take a similar approach (socialize and learn from successful non-crypto founders) are distinctly different when it comes to focus, a prerequisite for success - more people should smile when they don’t feel like it - sometimes the right person isn’t necessarily the one with whom you want to settle down, but the one with whom you want to take off; a relationship for which commitment signifies the start, not end, of liberty - execution > ideas - when i have kids, i’d feel like a failure if my daughter thought her best chance at generating value is OnlyFans or if my son thought his best chance at an intimate connection is OnlyFans and idk if that’s right
