The most frustrating thing about the Kindle is it's a niche business for Amazonāand the publishers are not tech companies and conservativeāso innovation is so much slower than it could be ifKindle was an independent company (like Daylight) with a federal law that would require portability of e-books across platforms (sort of like phone number portability).
