Here's a concrete example of what adding an external link to your tweets does in the algo.

Left: 2 tweetts, first is 1 sentence + image and second is a link to @six tweet
135,000 views / 635 likes = 212 views per like

Right: 3 tweets in a thread, last tweet has a link to the spec
16,000 views / 240 likes = 66 views per like

agreed that actuals are what the business needs. relatives though are just as useful for telling stories which drive growth
