Looking forward to living in a world where we celebrate identifying single points of failure and collectively bring attention to opportunities for new players to enter the ring and provide value in a net-decentralizing kind of way. Why is everyone always so defensive when someone tries to point out "yeah this is great, but here's where our points of failure still are"? They really aren't gonna like Nearchos when we launch our 6 pillars review after mood maps v1 is done!

I think that Rish's point about Farcaster's youth and 'its a matter of time' was a good non-defenaive response.

Sure, that's a relevant lens to look at the situation. And one likely shared by owl when asking the questions he is. It's the attitude of "why are you asking this question, it's irrelevant" that is dismissive and bit of a gaslighting behavior when it's a good faith question about an actually relevant point. The question wouldn't be necessary if the context wasn't being glossed over. Why can't we just be open and transparent about where we're at with the progression of decentration, instead of trying to oversimplify it to "we're decentralized because of this reason, other reasons don't matter". Saying "it's early" has no bearing on the question other than context. But treating the question like it's irrelevant because of that context is basically gaslighting.
