One monetization idea that comes to mind (this is assuming you can only talk to someone once you’ve matched w them) is users have an option to pay a certain amount to bypass this and message someone directly if they really seem to like them. Buttt the message receiver should have an option to report and block if the person turns out to be a creep or doesn’t understand boundaries/doesn’t take no for an answer.

so the thing is if you look at someone's profile you could just minimize the app go search for their profile and DM them directly :/

Hmm fair. So then maybe a workaround could be the usernames are hidden by default until matched (people might recognize thru pfps tho)
